Well, after /usr/src/ turned out to be the dump of quite some useless
code I tried to remove some of that crap.

paludis -q gentoo-sources
* sys-kernel/gentoo-sources
installed:         <some>

e.g. paludis -u sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5

Unhandled exception:
  * In program paludis -u sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5:
  * When performing uninstall action from command line:
  * When adding uninstall target 'sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5':
  * When parsing package dep spec 'sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5'
  * with parse mode 'permissive':
  * When splitting out category and package names from
  * 'sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5':
  * When validating package name part 'gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5':
  * Name 'gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r5' is not a valid package name part
  * (paludis::PackageNamePartError)

What the heck?

emerge --unmerge <same name> did the trick...
but I really *do not want to use* portage any longer! So where's my

paludis 0.24.6
