 This is potentially harmful because cave refusing to execute in such case
 when used with -x option.
 But it will **really** downgrade as suggested without excplicit user
 confirmation in the following situation:

 I say: cave, resolve me something with this --resume-file RF. \\
 Cave: nooou, you should give me -d or -o. But I wrote resume-file for you!
 \\
 I say: cave, resume this resume-file RF. \\
 Cave: yes, sir!

 I didn't notice this behavior with other kinds of failed resolutions.
