I think this is a good idea but we would have to take action now if we want to
meet the application deadline for 2015...

I really do not mind having Haskell in the system set if it solves the
problem. I just got the impression that this might have been one of the
reasons why there has never been any real work on it. But the main reason
obviously is that it requires some effort to get it working.
